XXVII ISPIM Innovation Conference 2016
The International Society for Professional Innovation Management (ISPIM) is a network platform for innovation management. This year’s innovation conference is made possible through ANI – Agência Nacional de Inovação (the National Innovation Office of Portugal) by the headlined “Blending Tomorrow’s Innovation Vintage”. Dr. Christoph Köller will give a lecture under the title “Fostering Innovation from Social Sciences and the Humanities” addressing challenges and opportunities with valorizing research from Social Sciences and Humanities. Furthermore, he will chair a debate concerning the subject “Sharing Innovation Research Results & Practice”.

ASTP-Proton Annual Conference 2016
ASTP Proton aims to connect transfer officers thoughout Europe to improve the transfer of research results in society and economy. This year’s conference caption in Copenhagen is “Making a difference through knowledge transfer”. Dr Christoph Köller’s workshop addresses the challenges and opportunities of interdisciplinary projects between technical and non technical disciplines in university and industry collaborations and explicitly includes the perspective of the social sciences, arts and humanities. Title of the workshop is: “Mobilizing with industry – Interdisciplinary collaboration between university and industry”.

SARIMA Annual Conference 2016
This year’s Southern African Research & Innovation Management Association (SARIMA) annual conference will centre around the utilization of unique resources to position southern Africa’s research and innovation globally. EU-DK Meeting about impact in Horizon 2020
With the presentation Writing the impact section – a nightmare? – Six exercises to avoid sleepless nights while dreaming of impact G&K managing director Dr Christoph Köller will present pitfalls and opportunities when preparing the impact section of EU proposals. He will present them in the half day EU-DK Support meeting devoted to IMPACT in Horizon 2020 in the Eigtvids Pakhus in Copenhagen.
About “Meeting about impact in Horizon 2020”
International experts and scientists with much experience and insights will share new perspectives for the benefit of future efforts, founded on their accumulated knowledge on impact. Impact is a key concept in Horizon2020, but is viewed by many proposal writers as the most challenging section to write. The meeting aims at experienced researchers and EU advisors, who have written or evaluated several impact sections for Horizon 2020 proposals. It is held by the Danish agency for Science, Technology and Innovation.

Tutorial at the Fraunhofer-INT
Under the title „Enabling Innovation – From Research Results to Innovation” Dr. Christoph Köller illustrates the Enabling Innovation method at a Tutorial of the Fraunhofer-Institut für Naturwissenschaftlich-Technische Trendanalysen (INT).
The presentation states the relevant factors of governing innovation capability of research institutions.

Enabling Innovation is a management method developed for research institutions to empower their innovation capabilities and encourage knowledge and technology transfer.
The EI tool was developed in a joint research project of Deutsches Zentrum für Luft und Raumfahrt (DLR), Rheinische Fachhochschule Köln and G&K and was funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research.
